Ready to leap..

I was going to pick my son yesterday and was thinking there are only three more days I will be going this same route. 3 years back, when I first went that way I was thinking the next 3 years I need to go this same way and felt it was such a long time ahead. But it went faster than a lightening…! The middle school kid will be going to high school from next year.
I used to drop him off everyday even though the school bus stops in front of our home, and other kids in his school stand in front of our home. But he never rode the bus. The time until we reach school and back home, we spend together was special. sometimes we would be arguing all the way to school or sometimes just sitting being in our own worlds. Now, the next school is just three minutes away, he can walk in good weather. So I will be missing this time I guess. But then who can stop time.
He called me today and said they are giving him a sendoff party tomorrow:) . He isn’t ready to leave the school and teachers said he can come back any time and see them. Gradually the kids will start adjusting to the new school, like it happens all the time. It’s the parents who has problem fitting in I guess! I hope soooooooo.
