We were talking about our favorite childhood books. My list included lalu Leela, poompatta, illustrated weekly, tinkle ( not twinkle), balrama etc.
The one book that I miss so much is called 'kuttikathakalum chithrangalum', Russian book.
He said he used to enjoy reading crime thrillers by Kottayam Pushparaj and Batton Bose. He said he would like to read those books again.
When I went to eloor last week I looked for those books and found them at the bottom of the shelf.
That evening when he came home from work I asked him to close his eyes and put his hands out. After he did as I told him to do so I placed that book in his hands and saw the smile getting wider and wider until it burst in to laughter. He said you got it....
