Talking about movies, I watched a movie- Coming of age, a Korean movie. Stunningly beautiful. What great photography. The story moves around a small home set in the middle of a big pond surrounded by thick forests. It was a pleasure watching the movie; it had a calming effect.  The little boy about 8 or ten years old goes after frogs and fishes and ties them with a stone and having great fun watching those helpless creatures suffer. The entire time he is laughing uncontrollablyJ which will put a smile in our lips even though what he is doing is cruelty.  But his master tells him if one of them dies he will carry the weight in his heart all his life and ties a stone on his body while he sleeps. The next day he walks with great difficulty through the forests to find the frog, fish and the snake to untie them. Fish is dead and he buries it with tears already ready to roll down his cheeks. The frog is still alive and he lets it free. The snake is dead too and he starts crying so badly that we feel the pain in our heart. Almost ready to go inside the screen and hold the baby close until he calms down. I am glad I saw this movie, it’s still haunting. The picture perfect sceneries in that movie are so clear even now in my mind. I normally don’t like such lonely places no matter how beautiful they might look.  This is one place I wouldn’t mind spending the rest of my life, in peace…if I get the chanceJ
