Before picture..

Yesterday I found that the green healthy passion fruit plant in our garden turned in to a bunch of dried limbs!! All dried up!! I didn’t even glance at them in the past one month. When I told my husband casually that I think the passion fruit plant is all dried up he was like I said I killed something more than a plant. "What are you all doing to my plants!!"
I don’t ever remember him being this much concerned about his own son!! I was a bit taken aback, and I told him 'what can I do if the plant died???' And then I got angry, and asked- 'so what?? What did I do?? It died on its own!!' I think the phone on the other end went dead. He later on said there was a call and may be that’s why he had to disconnect the phone!!! Anyways,

I simply hate gardening. I hate being outdoors, if I do I always have to worry about small insects crawling here or there, invisible cobwebs that suddenly hit your face. I hate all these and prefer staying indoors. I love at looking the sceneries from inside, mostly with some exceptions I might say. My husband on the other hand, is an outdoor person. If he is home he will go out in the mornings and spend hours digging something or planting something. When he comes in for lunch he would promise me he won’t go out again and let’s watch a movie and he is done for that day. But in the evenings, he would go out again and comes in only after it is dark. Some might say he is enjoying his freedom but no, he always calls me to go out with him and knowing my nature would tell me, you don’t have to do anything, just stay around and talk :):)I love that guy:) . He simply loves being with his plants and taking care of them, they are not exotic plants, they are down to earth plants.

To my surprise I found that when he is here the plants looks healthier, greener and with full of flowers. When he’s gone, half of the plants will stop having flowers, they are there but they are not really there! So this time when I saw this dead plant, I decided to do something. I took away all those dried limbs. To my luck I found that there is still a small part alive of that passion fruit plant. I carefully tied the vines to the nearby tree and poured water too. I hope it will come alive!! Meanwhile we badly need some good rains so the plants will be alive again, at least I hope so…
