We went to see a farm which belonged to a friend. It was a trip worth its effort. The bushes grew so thick with the recent rains it got. I enjoyed the walking by making way through the bushes and was only worried about the leeches. On our way back I heard the story of a guy who chopped his finger a second after being bitten by a poisonous snake to survive since he had to travel 3 hours to get out of the forest and reach a nearby hospital.  His best bet was to chop off the finger in order to survive. If I heard the stories a bit earlier I would have happily stood in a clearing and watched what’s around me, rather than daring a walk through the forest.  Needless to say the views the forest offered was beautiful.
