The cobweb,dirt and litter museum

The palace was expected to open at 9.30 but even after 9.45 there was nobody in sight. Then the museum opened, finally. We went there and was so disappointed to see the pathetic way in which they have kept the things there, with lots of cockroach droppings even inside the glass boxes. The admission was free, thank God! But that doesn’t mean one has to keep only a handful of things in this poor condition.
We wanted to see the Saraswathy Mahal library too but there was nobody their either and the placed remained closed till we left.

As we waited in front of the courtyard to see the Thanjavore palace, we so many kids going to school at that time. One particular little girl was walking with so much difficulty because she was wearing a long skirt. She tried to walk faster by holding the skirt all the way up to her knees. Then her elder sister who was walking faster told her that she is going to walk even faster! Then this little one made a face , dropped her skirt and ran after her. I tried to take a picture of that little girl but she ran faster!!
We had fun watching these kids and we didn’t mind waiting there even a little bit more.
