Book Club

My friend called me to attend a book club meeting at her home.I might go since its at her home and its about Namesake.I don't really like to be a member in a book club.I have seen friends,running around saying-oh the meeting is in my home,i need to clean the home,bake something,on top, need to finish the chapters etc etc.For me reading a book should be purely my choice.I like suggestions from others.But to read it in a time frame and almost feel exhausted by the meetings is not my thing.Besides i have this habit of reading several books at the same time.Now along with two fictions,i started the Rape of Nan king too.Ever since i saw the documentary on that,the images has been stuck on my mind.Seeing that old Chinese man,talking about how his mother got killed,is something that makes you think,are there pure evils,among us?
