Ithu Manjukalam

Winter time is beautiful,as long as you sit inside the warmth of your home.Thats my feeling about winter.Coming from kerala,i never thought snow can be cold!seeing the beautiful,star like flakes,on christmas cards always seemed warm!!How so,i cant explain.But experiencing this snow and knowing what exactly does it mean by cold,was/is no fun.

Now, i laugh thinking of my father,covering himself with blanket, back home,during december times and says its very cold .Its Manju Kalam they say.Manjukalam means winter time.We can see dew drops early in the mornings,on leaves,on flowers.Walking barefoot on the grass,covered in dew drops is fun.
As much as i love the dream like winter here,i love the ,Manjukalam more.:)
