I loved these highways

I loved the highways. They were so neat and deserted. But there was one scary thing I saw in those highways. One might think who would dare coming across you on a one way highway! You would be going at 70/90/100 and suddenly you see a bike coming to your direction. Isn’t that enough to give one a heart attack? If that was not enough, I even saw a lorry coming opposite. I thought it may not the case at night, but it was even worse. What makes people do such things? They might think they have full control of their vehicles, fine. But what if the other vehicle loses its control and the brake doesn’t work for a second? What is the end result?? Things could go wrong. I think the reason is our attitude of carelessness, we think nothing wrong will ever happen to us. All bad things will happen to others not me, I am invincible, immortal. I wish if they would think once about the people at home, their loved ones waiting for them to come, they wouldn’t play this dangerous game. Is saving a few minutes of drive worth losing a life? ?? I am not that sure.
