Akshardham

The next stop was Akshardham . I‘ve never seen anything like that before. It’s so huge. Humongous! I just wish if they would let people spend a peaceful night there, and get ourselves lost in that almost chokingly huge building. I felt like sitting there on one of those endless steps forever and sleep on one of those corridors at night. I thought I could see people from the past walking around in their beautiful ornaments and dancing steps. Even with that entire crowd, the place still managed to look empty and calm. I got some peaceful time. One has to go there to believe it.! I wish someday they would let, may be like ten people at a time, to stay there for a night! I am in the queue already! When we were sitting there on the steps, we heard the familiar sound of jesudas reciting beautifully from Bhagavath geetha. Then my husband started singing along with that. In all these years I’ve never heard him sing that song. He told me later that he learned it when he was a little boy and after that he forgot about that and never heard this from anywhere else. Now upon listening to Jesudas all of a sudden he remembered the song and the words.
