I cant believe that I am back! It was a messy trip. We never had a problem of missing the dates of our travels so far. But this time, we went crazy I guess. We were supposed to be coming back on 8th. But we forgot the fact that 8th early morning came right after 7th midnight!!! Somehow we missed that and was thinking we were going on 8th night. So when we were visiting with our relatives on 7th afternoon and was saying we were going on 8th early morning, they asked, isn’t that tonight? We were like, 'No, it’s tomorrow night' .Then to avoid more confusion we checked the internet and found that it was indeed that night and not the next night . It was a mad rush afterwards. Reaching home, doing the last minutes packing and getting ready the carryon and what not. Didn’t get any time to take a couple of hours sleep before going to the airport at the ungodly hour. The misery didn’t end there. We missed one of our connecting flights, spend 7hours at the airport, lost my watch at the security check, and my son’s too! Instead of reaching at night, we reached the next day morning, at last. I am hoping we wont have to do any more of these tiring travels again. This is too much. When we go home, we are ready to take any amount of problems I guess but when we come back even an hour of delay at an airport seems like a torture.
It’s raining heavily here and that’s the only good thing I can see as of now. It’s beautiful seeing the dark green leaves looking so fresh with the rain. We all went to sleep at 5 pm and decided to wake up at 8 have dinner and go back to sleep. But we slept through the evening, night and got up after 2 am and then couldn’t sleep after wards. So my son and myself spend the rest of the hours till morning reading and watching TV.
On the long flight from Dubai to New York, I listened to the old songs and saw a few of my favorite songs, like Tumne mujche dekha, jane man, jane jaan ,

Almost everyone has these nightmare travel tales - I dread them. At least you are home, thank God.
And those pictures are a beautiful compensation.
